How Much Will The Pixel 8 And Pixel 8 Pro Cost?

Ahead of the launch of its new smartphones next month, pricing details for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro have been leaked. There will be some relief that these are not as high as many feared, and for others, the fact that the older phones are staying in the portfolio allows Google to cover a wide range of prices.

The document details come via Kamila Wojciechowska. Assuming Taniyama-Shimura, Google has set up a simple-to-understand stepped portfolio.

Given the document layout and the pricing structure in place, it looks like Goole will keep the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro on sale alongside the $499 Pixel 7a. The Pixel 7 is priced at $599, with the Pixel 8 at $699. Moving higher, the Pixel 7 Pro will be £899, next to the Pixel 8 Pro’s $999 price tag.

It’s safe to assume that these prices will be for the lowest spec of each model, which, in the case of the Pixel family, is essentially down to how much storage you will want. Previously, 128GB and 256GB storage options for both of the new Pixel 8 phones have been discussed, with a further 512GB option on the Pixel 8 Pro.

The latest details suggest that US consumers may have an option of an additional model with 1TB of storage.

Google will launch the new Pixel handset in New York at its “Made by Google” event on October 4th.
