Latest Google Leak Exposes Stunning Pixel Buds Pro Design

While the headlines will focus on the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones, there’s another product at the upcoming “Made For Google” launch event that many will be listening out for. The latest details around the Pixel Buds Pro 2 show the next steps in Google’s audio adventures and back up some design choices of the two new smartphones.

The first generation of Pixel Buds Pro was launched at Google’s I/O Developer event in May 2022. They offer active noise cancellation with full noise isolation and a transparency mode. A five-band graphic equaliser and Spatial Audio support with a suitably enabled smartphone were included in a subsequent software update.

These features are all expected to be included with the Pixel Buds Pro 2. With Google’s renewed focus on audio clarity in recorded video and new AI and ML routines to isolate sounds, a touch of AI in the Pixel Buds Pro 2 to help audio tuning and finding your personal preferences feels likely.

There is one new part of the design that has already leaked. Since that launch, the Pixel Buds Pro has been available in four colors: Charcoal, Lemongrass, Coral, and Fog. According to the latest information, two more will be added to the range: Porcelain and Sky Blue.

If those two colors sound familiar, those are the leaked colors for the two new Pixel 8 handsets. The digital ducks of the earbuds and the smartphones are all lining up ahead of the big day.

Now read the latest details on what Google plans for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro’s update strategy…
